Appeal for witnesses and dash cam footage following burglary in Egginton

We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a burglary in Egginton. 

The incident happened at a property in Hilton Road at about 5.30pm on Tuesday 9 December. 

A number of items were stolen including watches and suitcases. 

Two figures were seen approaching the property and then leaving the scene on foot across some farmers fields. 

It is believed they headed towards a level crossing on the A5132 between Egginton and Hilton, before making their way onto a bridleway that runs towards Etwall. 

The suspects were carrying at least two pillowcases of stolen items at the time and we believe they may have gotten into a car at some point. 

We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the suspects in the area or who has dash cam footage to please come forward and speak to us.
